It is not unreasonable to say that the specificity of Polymer Reaction Engineering (PRE) has always been the very strong relationship between the product one obtains, and the process and reactor used to make it. As the adage goes “polymers are product by process”.

In November 2022, a part of the IRIS team visited UPV/POLYMAT facilities in San Sebastian (Spain) to continue working in the Dilution System for the Turbidity Spectrometry (TUS) sensor.
Colleagues from BRAVE participated at the esib2022 with a fantastic booth in Section 18 presenting its own company, their OF2i technology, their products as well as the NanoPAT project.
On 10th October 2022, the partners of the H2020 project HARMLESS visited the facilities of BRAVE for a technology demonstration of their real time characterisation technology for nanoparticle production processes, OF2i.
All attendees where very interested in the novel technology and some contacts have already been established! Let’s the future bring fruitful collaborations!
Within the context the M4 Consortium Meeting of the Horizon Europe MOZART project, Cnano organised a Citizen Engagement Event on plating technologies to promote the Safe-and-Sustainable-by-Design (SSbD) approach during the electroless and electroplating process.
At the end of October (24th-28th October 2022), Manuel Nigg, from Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW), visited the facilities of UP/innoFSPEC for knowledge exchange, training and networking purposes, as well as to do some refractive index measurements.
Trying to engage with new stakeholders, NanoPAT met the NMBP-01-2018 LightCoce Open Innovation Test Bed project in an online meeting, hosted by our common partner EXELISIS, on Oct 26th 2022.
The collaborations between NanoPAT partners continue being quite intensive during this Autumn of 2022. On 19-20 October 2022, some colleagues from BRAVE visited FLUDINOVA’s facilities in Porto, showing them around and introducing them their business and products, focusing concretely on Fluidinova’s industrial plant and production process.
