On Thursday, April 14th 2022, the EU-H2020 project NanoCommons, gave NanoPAT partners an interactive online workshop on implementing Instance Maps for linking SOPs and data to Electronic Laboratory Notebooks for nanosafety assessment.
On April 22nd 2022 took place, in Graz (Austria), the 20th NanoNET Austria Meeting & 1st NanoSyn3 Joint Meeting as hybrid edition. The event focused on standardization and characterization of nanoparticles and nanostructures in different media.
The latest episode (#08) of the Listen.UP podcast of Potsdam University portrayed innoFSPEC group leader Dr Marvin MÞnzberg as well as innoFSPEC as a research center. Under the title âWhatâs actually happening?â (in German, âWas passiert da eigentlich?â), the episode stresses innoFSPECâs important role in the knowledge transfer between university and industrial partners, particularly in the field of process analytical technologies (PAT); and thereby arising career options such as dual career systems . Dr MÞnzberg explains further how PDW spectroscopy, as a PAT that was uniquely developed at innoFSPEC, can be used for diverse industrial applications, from cheese production to algae cultivation.
On February 17th, 2022 the entire consortium, under the leadership of the Communication, Dissemination and Exploitation leaders (BNN and TEMASOL), met virtually for an internal Stakeholder Engagement and Exploitation Workshop.
On 13th January 2022, NanoPATâs Consortium had the chance to present our Project Officer Yanaris Ortega Garcia and our external expert John Parthenios, the progress on the developments within the project, the achievements during the first reporting period, as well as our upcoming plans!
Under the title âMaterials characterization challenges to support the industry transition in the digital eraâ, this 1st NanoMECommons workshop aims to proclaim knowledge and share new ideas amongst academic scientists, researchers, engineers and other stakeholders from research area of nanotechnology, modelling, and (nano-)characterization.
The 5th European Conference on Process Analytics and Control Technology (EuroPACT 2021), organised by DECHEMA, took place virtually on 15th-17th November 2021. NanoPAT was widely present on the event!
As already announced, NanoPAT contributed actively to the NanoInnovation 2021 Conference. In particular to the online Workshop âSafe by Design of nanomaterials in industrial production processesâ on September 24th.
Despina Emmanouilidou from Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) was visiting, June 28th-July 2nd, the University of Potsdam (UP) for training and networking purposes within the NanoPAT project. After the first year of the NanoPAT project, the aim of the visit was an intensive training by PDWS experts at innoFSPECPotsdam, with a focus on zeolite synthesis and first experiments with offline and inline photon density wave spectroscopy (PDWS). Additionally, measurement of zeolite properties with reference methods exclusively available in Potsdam were planned.
